\u201cPaving the way in creating a new trail for education is what we look upon every day to engage students to discover, learn and thrive,\u201d says the President of Asan Memorial Associations, Dr. C. K. Revi.<\/p>\n

Son of Sri. C. R. KesavanVaidyar a renowned social worker, Dr. C. K. Revi is an educationist, author, philanthropist, industrialist and the person behind the success of the acclaimed Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap.<\/p>\n

Though an eminent doctor by profession, his remarkable ideas play a key role in elevating education to a new level. A lifetime Trustee of Sree Narayana Guru Institute of Technology (Coimbatore), S. N. Trust (Quilon), and the Chairman of the Sree Narayana Guru Educational Society (Irinjalakuda); he also manages a Primary School, Senior Secondary School, a Teachers\u2019 Training Institute, and a School of Nursing under his family trust. He established the first and so far the only Institute of Continuing Medical Education in Kerala recognized by the National Academy of Medical Sciences. Serving as the General Secretary of Kerala Ophthalmological Society until 1996 he went on to be elected as the President of the society during the Silver Jubilee year 1999-2000. A true educationist Dr. C. K. With over 35 years of experience in the field of education Mrs. Shyamala Jayaprakash brings to the table her vast knowledge in managing educational institutions. Under the able guidance of her father, the founder Secretary and Chairman Sri AK Gopalan she learnt the nuances of building and running various institutions ranging from schools to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>nscolleges. She took over the reins of the management as the General Secretary in 2011.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]The group has since grown both in size and eminence. The Asan group of institutions started with Asan Memorial Senior Secondary school in the year 1966 which went on to become the first private CBSE school in Chennai. 55 years later the group’s portfolio include schools, play schools, an arts and science college, an engineering college and a dental college. Her vision is to build further on the solid foundation laid by her late father Sri AK Gopalan.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Shyamala Jayaprakash is an active social worker rendering yeoman service to the community through her association with Rotary Club and other social organisations. She is the past President of Rotary Club of Madras South,\u00a0 one of the oldest and prestigious clubs in the city. She was the Vice President of the Confederation of Malayali Associations of Chennai, Vice President Dakshina a social organization. Dr. Gautham Babu is a dentist by profession and an educationist by passion. After completing his dental education, he entered private practice in Chennai. He was called upon by his grandfather, the Founder General Secretary, Sri A.K Gopalan, who wished to build a dental college in the outskirts of Chennai. He was the force behind the implementation of the Dental College having worked from the design stage to building completion. Recognising his management skills the Founder Secretary entrusted him with various additional responsibilities. After the passing of his mentor he took upon the role of Joint Secretary and has since been steering the Asan Group of institutions under the leadership of General Secretary Mrs. Shyamala Jayaprakash. Dr. Gautham Babu is a passionate animal lover with a deep-rooted interest in the environment.
